Taoist Internal Arts

Lotus Nei Gong Internal Arts was established in 2005 by Laoshr Damo Mitchell in an attempt to promote the practice of the Taoist Internal Arts in their entirety.

 

Incomplete

Many people in the West practice Arts such as TaijiQuan, Qi Gong and Internal Alchemy but very few understand the deeper aspects of the systems and so they are often watered down and incomplete.

 

Balance

Lotus Nei Gong has an equal emphasis on the Healing, Spiritual and Martial aspects of the Eastern Arts, without equal training in all three of these areas the Art is unbalanced and a full understanding cannot be developed

Teaching

Lotus Nei Gong is headed by Laoshr Damo but there are also other instructors whose class details can be accessed through the menu above.

 

Courses

As well as weekly classes there are also regular courses offered which look in greater detail at various aspects of the Eastern Arts. Again, these can be accessed by clicking on the courses section of the menu above.

 

Syllabus

Each subject is taught in a structured manner allowing for steady progression through the various layers of complexity. Arts taught include: TaijiQuan, Qi Gong, Nei Gong, Meditation, Gong Fu and Healing.
Text Box: Energy Body For many thousands of years the ancient Taoists have understood the inner workings of the human body. They understood that we are comprised not only of our physical form but also of an energetic body which is of equal importance. The Internal Arts were created in order to understand and develop this energetic body so that we may use it for promoting Health, Longevity, Martial Prowess and most importantly Spiritual Development. Laoshr Damo Laoshr Damo has trained in the Martial and Eastern Arts since the age of 4 resulting in over 23 years of practice. He has trained in both the West and the East with many high level teachers. He specializes in Yang and Chen style TaijiQuan as well as Qi Gong, Taoist Yoga, Internal Alchemy, Baguazhang and Gong Fu. He is a full Lineage holder in the Internal Arts and follows the teachings of the Complete Reality School of Taoism although certain aspects of Chan and Tibetan Buddhism are incorporated into his teachings.
